Nureva Connect Module LED Indicators
The LED Status lights on the Connect Module and Connect Module 2 are important indicators to show if the system is working correctly.
If your HDL system is not functioning as expected, please take a look at the LED’s and check against this guide.
Connect Module 1 – HDL300 and HDL300 Dual
Power LED
Colour | Status | Description |
Green | On | Power is connected |
Green | Off | No power to the system |
RJ-45 Socket LED’s
Yellow | Green | Description |
Flashing | Off | The port is connected to an IP network and functioning properly |
Flashing | On | The port is connected to the HDL speaker bar and is functioning properly |
Flashing | Flashing | The port is working but has been configured incorrectly.
This maybe caused by the plugging the speaker bar into an Ethernet switch that is connected to an IP network |
Off | Flashing | The port has been shut down due to Power over Ethernet (PoE) error.
This may be due to the port drawing too much power or has shut down for safety reasons |
System Status LED
Colour | Status | Description |
Green | On | The system is on and operating |
Green | Off | The system is on and in standby mode |
Red | On | The system is in failure state (contact support) |
Amber | Flashing | The firmware is being updated |
- | Off | The system is not powered up |
Red/Green | Flashing | The firmware is incorrect (contact support) |
Amber/Green | Flashing | The Connect Module is continuous reset mode.
Unplug the Ethernet cable. If LED turns green, replace speaker bar / Connect Module |
Connect Module 2 – HDL310 and HDL410
The Connect Module 2 has status indicators at the front and rear.
Connect Module 2 - Front View
| Solid white: The system has power Off: The system does not have power |
| Solid Yellow: The system requires a firmware update and is not available Solid Green: Successful USB connection and is recognised as a USB device Off: No USB connection or is not recognised by the operating system |
| Solid Green: A microphone/speaker bar is connected to port 1 Note: the LED will pulse while a connection is established |
| Solid Green: A microphone/speaker bar is connected to port 2 Note: the LED will pulse while a connection is established |
| Solid Red: Connected to network, but failed to get an IP address Flashing Red: Connected to the network, but cannot access the internet Blinking Red: Unknown system error and device should be power cycled |
| Solid Green: Device is connected to a network, has an IP address and can access the internet |
| Solid Yellow: The device is communicating with Nureva Console cloud and is ready to be enrolled |
| Solid Red: No communication with Nureva Console cloud - Use the Network Connectivity Tool to diagnose issues
- If the network passes the connectivity test, power cycle the HDL system.
- If issue persists, contact support

| Solid Green: The system is enrolled and communicating with Nureva Console cloud |
Flashing = LED is on for 1 second, then off for 0.5 seconds
Blinking = LED is on for 1 second, then off for 4 seconds
Overheating Warnings
| Solid Red: If any of these LED’s are solid red, the Connect Module has overheated and needs to be shut down. Unplug the Connect Module, wait at least 10 minutes and then plug it in again. - Learn about troubleshooting overheating issues

Connect Module 2 - Rear View – RJ45 Socket
Yellow | Green | Description |
Off | Off | The system is not powered on |
Flashing | Off | The port has been connected to a network. Connect to a HDL microphone & speaker bar |
Flashing | Flashing | Incorrect setup. Confirm Ethernet cables are working and connected to HDL microphone & speaker bar |
Off | Flashing | The port has been shut down due to a PoE error. The port may be drawing too much power and has been shut down for safety. Contact Support. |
Flashing | On | No issue. The port is connected to a HDL microphone and speaker bar and is functioning conrrectly |
Connect Module 2 - Rear View – Network Port
Yellow | Green | Description |
Off | Off | The system is not powered on or network cable is disconnected |
Off | On | The network cable is connected but no data being communicated |
Blinking | On | No issue. The port is connected to a network and is functioning correcly |

Note: Press F1 on the remote control to adjust brightness or turn off speaker bar LED’s.
LED Soundbar Volume LED Indicators
The soundbar LED indicators also change to indicate changes to the speaker output volume
