How to Join a Consultation Live 2-Way Call as a Patient
This is a guide on how to join a consultation as a patient.
Stage 1
Once a consultant has sent an invitation to His/Her patients they will receive the invitation via email. See below as an example.
Open Email: Select “Attend Consultation”
Stage 2
You will be brought to this page. (See Below). Select “Accept” when you’re ready. This will also inform the consultant you’ve accepted the consultation call. Within this page, you’re able to communicate directly to the consultant if you’re running late via the chat button.
Stage 3
The consultant will be notified that you’ve accepted the invite and that you’re waiting for them to begin the call. This bar will turn green once they too have accepted the call.
Stage 4
When you’re brought to this page explain this is the virtual waiting room and that the patient is now required to perform a hardware/equipment test to ensure their audio and visuals are working. Continue by selecting “Start Consultation”.
Stage 5
When you’ve pressed “Start Consultation” and completed the hardware test you’re now ready for the live 2-way call with the consultant. This will now require the consultant to do the same process, but the only difference is the consultant will be the person to start the live call.
Stage 6
The image below is what you will see when you’ve gone through stages 1-5 successfully.
