How to book a room using the Office365 plugin
Benefits of O365 integration
One of the many benefits of having your Office 365 accounts integrated with GoBright is the seamless transitions when booking a meeting room, adding visitors or even ordering services such as coffee. The GoBright plugin as the name suggests is an extension of your existing O365 environment and so remains familiar.
Booking a meeting room
Launch a new meeting using your O365 calender.
From the extension 3 dots select GoBright. If that option is not available select 'Get Add-ons' and search for GoBright. Once the extension is added select GoBright from the menu. The plugin will launch.
Starting to fill out the meeting criteria on the left will be replicated in the GoBright plugin. Including date, time and number of attendees. the later is important for the size of the meeting rooms which will be offered when the search is performed.
Select Search from the GoBright plugin and a list of potential rooms will be listed. These are ranked in size order.
By selecting the room in the plugin automatically adds it to the meeting invitation.
The meeting invitation could now be sent, the room booked and attendees notified of their meeting.
More to GoBright and meetings
As part of the GoBright plugin to O365 we can extend way beyond just meeting invitations, scope exists to add services such as sandwiches and coffee to the meeting invitation. With visitor licences then preregistration of visitors makes for a seamless transition through the reception area. Notification to the host is automatically sent when the visitor has scanned their QR code invitation.
For both services and visitor registration a licence is required. The benefits extend the meeting experience adding a professional touch to any organisation.
