How to Check-in and Check-out via an NFC Sticker
What is an NFC sticker?
NFC tags are passive electronic devices, meaning they don't have any power source. Instead, they literally draw power from the device that reads them, thanks to magnetic induction. When a reader gets close enough to a tag, it energizes it and transfers data from that tag.
The process
The NFC sticker will interact with your mobile phone, Android or iOS assuming NFC communication is set as ON on the device. When prompted by the GoBright App the mobile device can be placed over the NFC sticker for data to be drawn from the sticker to identify the desk.

Check-in
To use NFC to check-in to a pre-booked desk launch the GoBright mobile app. From the onscreen menu select 'Scan NFC'
The mobile device will enter the scanning mode. Hold your device close to the NFC sticker.
A confirmation of the check-in appears.
The checked in desk now shows as RED on the floorplan.
Check-out
If you finish a meeting early then it is good etiquette to check-out from the desk releasing it to be cleaned (if hygienic mode selected) or rebooked by a colleague.
To check-out launch the GoBright mobile app and select 'Scan NFC'. Hold the device next to the NFC sticker whilst in the scanning mode.
To cancel the booking select 'Stop booking'.
Acknowledgement of the cancellation then appears on your device, releasing the desk for rebooking or cleaning.
