GoBright View - Playlists and Slides
Adding playlists
Playlists are what holds the content which is to be shown on a display(s) and can be scheduled in a calendar environment. This allows one playlist to finish as another one starts creating flexibility in when messaging is sent to the displays.
From the View home screen select Scheduling:
Select Add to begin creating the playlist file:
Name the playlist, select and identifying colour for the library of playlists, the channel(s) that will be playing the playlist and finally the zone which will hold the content:
Adding slides
With a playlist created content can now be added to that playlist. Items added to the playlist are referred to as slides. These slides can be moved in order depending on the requirements of the playlist and message to be conveyed.
Choose the playlist to edit and select the edit icon (pencil circled)
Select slides from the Edit playlist menu
Followed by Add
Three options are generated
- Template
- Predefined layout
- Media
For introduction purposes this article focuses on media
The media library which currently exists opens as well as the ability to upload new content
When all media is uploaded and chosen select Done. After which a media list is displayed.
By selecting the setting cog of each media object the the timing and animation can be set
Save the content and media is confirmed in the playlist
The schedule can now be created for this playlist.
