Conflab Health - DFOCVC Process Overview
Overview
Conflab by Flabba is a software solution that enables organisations to maintain their standard workflow whilst using video communication platforms to improve and streamline engagement with their users and customers.
Conflab Health is a version of this software that has been optimised for use in the health sector.
In 2020, the NHS announced the Digital First Online Consultation and Video Consultation framework (DFOCVC).
DFOCVC is designed to give NHS Trusts access to solutions that meet specific requirements. The solutions have been centrally approved, and trusts can purchase directly through the framework without funds being taken from their own budgets. This will encourage swift adoption as Trusts do not need to find additional funds to buy and deploy these solutions.
Conflab Health has been awarded supplier status on the DFOCVC framework.
As the frameworks states that a product can only be procured through a single supplier, Flabba and Ascentae have created an agency model to allow partners to be recognised and rewarded for promoting Conflab Health to the NHS customers.
Process
We have attempted to make the process as easy as possible. Flabba and Ascentae are promoting the Conflab Health solution to create end user awareness.
Partners who wish to benefit from this framework should attend the requisite training so they are able to discuss Conflab Health with their NHS customers.
Partners must sign the sub-agent contract before any opportunities can be registered or any commissions paid.
When a partner identifies an opportunity within their NHS clients, they should register the opportunity on the Ascentae Partner Portal.
Registered opportunities will be followed up directly by Flabba, who will engage with the NHS Trust to determine the scope of the project. A quote will be issued to the customer, and a copy of this quote - along with the projected commission that will be paid - will be provided to the partner.
Flabba will go through the sales process with the end user, deploying proof of concept as required.
Once Conflab Health has been approved by the end user, there are then 3 routes to procure the solution, depending on the size of the project.
- Direct Award for projects < £40,000. No customisation or discounts. No requirement for PoC. Contracts can be awarded in as little as 5 days
- On Catalogue Competition for projects £40,000 - £250,000. No customisation or discounts. Desk based evaluation & selection can take up to 10 days
- Off Calalogue Competition for projects > £250,000. Buyers may determine additional requirements. Suppliers able to offer discounts for competitive tender. Process takes 8-12 weeks.
Upon confirmation of project acceptance and PO through the DFOCVC framework, Flabba will confirm final size of project to channel. Ascentae will confirm final quote and commission to partner.
Commission will typically be paid no later than 45 days from contract award.
